On March 20th, we hosted our very first “March’s Teach the Teacher” event in Scranton, PA. This was a significant step forward in our ongoing effort to deepen the knowledge and skills of caregivers, a core aspect of our mission to recruit, train, and place personal care assistants (PCAs) across various settings.
We welcomed six teachers to the event, introducing them to the comprehensive range of services we offer. Our primary goal was to showcase our commitment to preparing caregivers for their future positions. The attendees received an in-depth look at the training our applicants undergo, including the critical Caregiver Competency test, which assesses a caregiver’s readiness and effectiveness.
A highlight of the event was the hands-on demonstration of using a Hoyer Lift, an essential skill for any caregiver working with individuals who need mobility assistance. This session underscored the practical training aspects we emphasize, ensuring our caregivers are equipped with both the knowledge and the hands-on skills necessary for high-quality care.
