Marilyn Major, the Chief Executive Officer of Carewide, possesses a wealth of experience that spans over four decades in the nursing and homecare industry. Recognizing the substantial need for Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) in diverse healthcare environments such as homecare, assisted living, and hospitals, Marilyn Major undertook a mission to create a specialized Healthcare Employment Service company. This company is committed to assisting licensed healthcare facilities in the recruitment, training, and placement of permanent PCA employees.

Cheryl Podhany our Director of Training is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience dedicated to elevating standards in the industry through comprehensive training and an unwavering commitment to safety.
Her training philosophy revolves around fostering an environment that promotes continuous learning with hands-on experience. She is passionate about equipping healthcare teams with the tools they need to excel in their roles and change the industry.
Safety is paramount in healthcare, and she is deeply committed to instilling a culture of safety in every aspect of patient care. Through rigorous training modules and practical simulations, she ensures that all trainees are well-prepared to handle various scenarios while prioritizing patient and staff safety.

Chief Operating Officer
Jay Major brings a unique blend of business management, technical expertise, and youth ministry experience to CareWide, LLC. A graduate of Liberty University, Jay served as Business Manager for At-Home Quality Care for four years, demonstrating exceptional leadership and accounting skills that contributed to the agency’s success. He also developed and executed a mobile app in the tech industry, which is currently available on the App Store and Google Play. In addition to his corporate endeavors, Jay is deeply involved in youth ministry, serving his community through a local Christian youth organization in Scranton, PA. Jay is currently the COO of CareWide, and his dedication to excellence and compassionate approach to leadership makes him an invaluable member of our team.
